Spartacus was a cool movie, but my favorite Kirk Douglas movie is also one of my favorite movies ever, Lonely Are The Brave. In this interview in seven parts, Douglas calls it his baby. It's his favorite, too.
I loved it from the first time I saw it at 14. It means more to me now. Having been homeless I've been outside too many fences.
