Video Find of the Day
A favorite actor, I never knew that he was also a folk-singer until I started finding videos like this on the internet. This was broadcast around 1966 on Pete Seeger's Rainbow Quest, but I didn't see it back then, probably because it ran opposite something more important, like Gilligan's Island, or Lost in Space. But now I can see hours of clips like these, 123 clips in all, provided by the Rainbow Quest Channel on YouTube (user name peglegsam.)

Pete Seeger on War
Video Find of the Day
In recognition of the coming 5th anniversary of George Bush Jr's illegal invasion of a country, let's see Pete Seeger sing about the stupid following the stupid. The Big Muddy song is the last 3 minutes of this 7 minute video, but the first 4 minutes aren't irrelevant.

The More Things Change...
Video Find of the Day
The poster says this one is from 1969. I don't remember David Steinberg hosting anything like this in 1969. I would have guessed this was '71 or '72. But it may have been in '69 and I missed it -- there was a lot going on.

Video Finds of the Day
I like the early Peter, Paul & Mary best. This one's from their first album.
500 Miles - Peter, Paul & Mary
Here Pete Seeger introduces them doing his song. This one shows clearly why I had the hots for Mary Travers.
if i had a hammer - peter paul and mary
